It’s that time again. Time to sit down and concentrate fully on what God has done for me!
I do have to admit, it does make you a more gracious person when you can sit down on a regular basis and thank God for moving and working on your behalf. When you actually LOOK to see the things that God has done, and acknowledge them AND Him, you become a better person. My outlook is better. That is important for a better quality of life, and quality relationship with Christ.
I am thankful that even though Mike was sick and wasn’t able to go to his own family’s Thanksgiving, we were still able to go. The drive was long, but gorgeous and the kids did not fight down there OR back. YAY!
I am thankful that the crazy relatives did not seem quite so crazy on THIS day. And the day was peaceful.
I will be even more thankful when Mike’s cousin, our favorite, moves back from Florida.
I am thankful that even though I couldn’t afford that AMAZING brisket, I was able to get a very tasty, adequate roast. And I didn’t burn it. Or poison anyone with it.
I am thankful for wonderful friends who helped to make the weekend one of FUN when the holiday was over.
I’m thankful I was OFF for 4 days in a ROW! YAY! I’m so tired….
Head on over to Eph 28:10 for more Thankful Thursday posts! You’ll be glad you did. http://www.eph2810.com/?page_id=459

On a personal note, because I’m not in the habit of vaguely posting about people without saying their name, Kelly, I am still praying for you. I am praying that God will move tremendously in your life. He will cause GOOD things to come your way to restore the joy you have lost. I pray that your Christian walk will grow STRONG and CLOSE with Christ and that you will be a great Christian influence over this new group of friends. The joy of the Lord will bubble up and flow over everyone that comes into contact with you, online and in real life. Lord I ask that make Your presence FULLY known to Kelly and give her direction, and peace, and love, and unspeakable joy. In Jesus name.
Because I don’t vaguely blog.

Time for me to say what I’m thankful for, funny I was praying about this last night…and I’m always thankful for my home, especially right now @ 6 degrees outside. It’s pretty with all the snow, but cold!
) and a constant reminder of His love for us. Look around, you’ll witness miracles everywhere!

Thanks Dana, for your weekly reminder and tee hee, I’m glad no one got food poisoning!
I’m glad you had a good Thanksgiving with Mike’s family. It was too bad he was sick and couldn’t go, but I know his family enjoyed having you and the children there with them.
What a beautiful prayer to pray for Kelly. I’m sure if she reads your blog she will be moved to see such a caring prayer for her. I prayed that prayer for her too.
I had a Sunday School teacher who used to say: You are building your reputation everyday, by what you say and what you do and how you treat others. I have never forgotten those words. They are so true. Dana, I know your family is proud of the reputation you are building. You and your Mom are both special friends to me.
Oh yeah…I was wondering what to cook today. Now you’ve made me want roast!
So glad you had a nice Thanksgiving.
Thank you for sharing your thankful heart sweet sister.
Blessings, Lyndy
Wonderful prayer for your friend. I agreed in that prayer for Kelly.
I’m so glad you got to have a few days off! We all need them now and then!
I’m thankful for firewood today – we’ve been having much colder weather and lots of fires in the fireplace-warmth & beauty combined.
